Congratulations on taking this important step in your healing journey. Your mind matters, and I’m here to help you believe that. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and my approach is tailored to your unique needs, blending different techniques to support your personal growth.
As someone deeply connected to women’s health, cancer care, and infertility, I understand how life’s challenges can feel overwhelming. I also have a special interest in sports psychology, fueled by raising two daughters who compete in sports, and I know firsthand the importance of mental resilience.
Together, we’ll work toward your goals in a space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered. My focus is on helping you build coping skills, foster self-awareness, and develop self-worth. Ultimately, I want to support you in creating the best relationship with yourself and those around you. You don’t have to do this alone—I’m here to walk with you every step of the way.

Your mind matters, and taking the first step toward healing is powerful. I am a psychotherapist with a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, focused on fostering connection, collaboration, compassion, and empathy. Together, we’ll explore your unique story, process challenges, and move toward healing and growth.
I hold special interests in infertility, cancer care, pregnancy, parenting, and recovering from intergenerational trauma. These experiences can be deeply complex and emotionally taxing, but they also offer opportunities for profound healing and transformation. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy; your journey will be tailored to your individual experiences, needs, and goals.
As someone trained in EMDR, I have witnessed its powerful impact in helping clients overcome intergenerational trauma. By processing unresolved emotions and experiences, EMDR allows you to reconnect with your true sense of self, breaking cycles and fostering a deeper sense of empowerment and well-being.
Your healing journey is unique, and I’m honored to walk alongside you as we work toward a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a proven, evidence-based approach that helps you recognize and challenge unhelpful thought patterns affecting your emotions and behaviors. By developing healthier ways of thinking, CBT empowers you to break negative cycles, manage stress, and improve your overall well-being. It’s a powerful tool that can lead to lasting change, enabling you to take control of your life and approach challenges with clarity and confidence.
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a dynamic, evidence-based approach rooted in the principles of CBT. Instead of dwelling on problems, SFBT focuses on identifying your strengths and building practical solutions. By envisioning your ideal future and taking actionable steps, SFBT empowers you to create meaningful change. This approach can transform your life by shifting your mindset toward possibilities and progress, helping you gain clarity and achieve your goals with confidence.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps you process and heal from distressing experiences. By targeting painful memories and reducing their emotional impact, EMDR allows you to break free from the grip of the past. It can boost your confidence, enhance your ability to manage present challenges, and ease worries about the future. EMDR empowers you to reclaim control, fostering a sense of peace and resilience that can transform your life.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a powerful, evidence-based approach rooted in CBT, with a focus on mindfulness and balance. It helps you manage intense emotions, develop effective coping strategies, and build healthier relationships. By fostering self-awareness and emotional regulation, DBT empowers you to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience, creating lasting, positive change in how you respond to stress and connect with others.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy is a compassionate, evidence-based approach that views the mind as made up of different "parts," each with its own thoughts, feelings, and roles. These parts often develop as a way to protect us from pain or conflict but can sometimes become stuck in patterns that no longer serve us. IFS helps you access your core Self—a calm, confident, and wise inner resource—so you can heal wounded parts and bring harmony to your internal world.
By fostering a deeper understanding of yourself, IFS can help you release burdens from the past, improve emotional balance, and create more fulfilling relationships. This therapy empowers you to lead your life from a place of strength, clarity, and compassion, ultimately transforming how you relate to yourself and others.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps you navigate life’s challenges by fostering acceptance of difficult emotions and committing to actions aligned with your values. Rather than fighting or avoiding uncomfortable feelings, ACT teaches you how to make space for them, allowing you to move forward with greater clarity and purpose.
Couples therapy is a transformative process designed to help partners navigate challenges, strengthen their bond, and build a deeper connection. Whether you're dealing with communication issues, unresolved conflicts, or simply want to strengthen your relationship, couples therapy provides a supportive space to explore your feelings and needs as a couple.
Family mediation is a collaborative, voluntary process designed to help families resolve conflicts and reach agreements in a respectful and supportive environment. Whether dealing with separation, parenting arrangements, financial matters, or other family disputes, mediation offers a structured way to navigate difficult conversations and create mutually beneficial solutions. Unlike litigation, mediation focuses on cooperation rather than confrontation, empowering families to retain control over decisions that affect their lives.
As a trained family mediator through York University's Family Mediation program and a member of the Ontario Association for Family Mediation (OAFM), I bring both expertise and compassion to the mediation process. My training has equipped me with the skills to facilitate productive dialogue, manage conflict, and ensure all parties feel heard and understood.
